1/2 lb butter (softened)
2 cp flour
6 oz cream cheese (softened)

Filling:
1 cp pecans (coarsely chopped)
4 eggs
2 cp brown sugar
6 Tbsp butter (melted)
Dash of salt

Crust:
Mix ingredients well and refrigerate 1 hour. After chilled, pinch off smalls balls of dough and finger press into muffin tin cups to create crust.

Filling:
Beat eggs well. Turn off mixer.

Add brown sugar, pecans, butter, and salt. Mix a very low speed until all is incorporated. The low speed helps keep the filling from becoming foamy.

Spoon filling into crusts. Bake at 400º until done. To test for doneness, insert knife into center of filling. Knife should come out clean when done.
