Hotteok:
1/2 c. Warm milk
1 tsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Instant dry yeast
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 1/4 c. Flour
Cooking oil for frying
Filling:
1/4 c. Brown sugar packed
1 tsp. Ground cinnamon
2. Tsp honey
2. Tbsp crushed peanuts

1. Combine milk, sugar, and yeast in a medium sized bowl
2. Add salt
3. Gradually add in flour until you have a nice smooth dough that isn't too sticky
4. Cover in plastic wrap and let sit for an hour in a warm place, until doubled in size
5. Combine ingredients for filling in a small bowl and set aside
6. Once dough has risen, using oiled hands, create six separate and even pieces from the dough
7. Flatten these pieces and begin spooning in the filling
8. Fold the dough over filling and pinch shut
9. Heat a little oil in a frying pan over medium heat
10. Place 1 or 2 dough pieces at a time seam side down into the frying pan, and flatten with an oiled spatula
11. Cook for about a minute or two on each side, until golden brown
12. Place on paper towel lined dish
