1 C elbow macaroni (uncooked)
½ C chopped onion
¼ C green pepper
¼ C pimento
3 T. butter
2 T. flour
1 ¼ C milk
1 can cream of chicken soup
6 oz. can tuna

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni & drain. Melt butter and saute onion and green pepper until soft. Add flour then add milk gradually & bring to a boil. Add soup, pimento, drained tuna and macaroni. Place in greased casserole and bake at 350 degrees 45 minutes.

Mary Thomas: Really good and a lifesaver for our budget when my husband Gerald (Thomas) was attending school in Valparaiso, Indiana. Those were our "really, really poor" years and tuna could be purchased for 25 cents a can. We ate a LOT of this tuna casserole!
