2 c butter, softened
1 c packed brown sugar
4 to 4 1/2 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add 3 -3/4 c of flour and mix well. Turn out on to floured surface and knead for 5 minutes. Add flour to make s soft dough. Roll to 1/2" thickness. Cut into 3" x 1" strips. Place on ungreased baking sheets about 1" apart. Prick with a fork. Bake at 325º until lightly browned - about 20-25 minutes.
