4 Tbsp yeast in ½ cup luke warm water. (Let stand for 10 minutes)
16 cups flour
6 cups warm water
3 Tbsp salt

Let raise once.
Knead down a second time and put in loaf tins. (Makes 4 loaves)
You may need to add a little more flour.
Should be a soft dough.

Grandma John always had a pantry full of yummy bread and cookies when we visited. This bread fresh out of the oven was always cut thick with a big slab of butter and homemade jam or jelly. Yum!
