4 cups raw walnut halves
1/4 cup butter or ghee
1/2 cup real maple syrup
coarse Kosher salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the smoke to 275º and get the smoker filled with smoke.
Melt butter or ghee
Stir in real maple syrup until blended.
Pour over nuts and toss to mix.
Add to an aluminum pan. Generously sprinkle with salt.
Smoke for 3-5 hours.
Allow to cool completely to bring out the full smoke flavor.
Store in a air tight container for up to a week.
