2 14 oz cans black beans
1 c breadcrumbs
¼ c onion, grated
¼ c zucchini, grated
¼ c carrot, grated
1 large egg
½ tsp chili powder
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp season salt
¼ tsp pepper


EVOO & Butter for frying
Cheese (optional)
Mexican-Ranch dressing (recipe in book)
Lettuce, sliced tomatoes and onions

Directions:
Directions:
Drain, but don’t rinse beans, pour into large bowl and fork mash until mostly broken up, but still have some whole beans visible.

Add remaining ingredients, mix well and allow to sit for 15 minutes.

Heat oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Form patties, cook about 5-7 minutes on one side, flip and add cheese, cook 5 more minutes.


Serve on garlic toasted buns with sauce and condiments.
