Ingredients:  
1 onion, chopped
1 can (2 1/2 cup) tomatoes
2 ( 6 oz) cans tomato paste
2 cups water
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 bay leaf

1 lb. ground beef
1 cup fine ground bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmedan Cheese
1 spring parsley chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 cup milk
2 well beaten eggs
salt and pepper

1 ( 8 oz. pig.) long spaghetti- cooked

Cook onion till golden, add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, sugar, salt, pepper, and bay leaf.
Cook slowly 1 hour.

Combine meat, bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, garlic, milk, eggs, and seasonings. Mix thoroughly.
Form in small balls, brown in skillet ( oil in skillet ). Add to sauce. Cook over low heat. Serve over spaghetti.
Makes 6 servings.
