1 lb uncle bens converted rice
5 T oil
1 large onion sliced thinly
2 cloves garlic minced
4 cups chicken stock
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp salt
1 lb prawns
1 cup diced ham
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 T curry powder
salt and pepper to taste
optional- 2 eggs 1 green pepper

Directions:

heat oil-saute onions- add garlic whole- saute 1 minute then squeeze garlic in garlic press or mince and return to pan. Add rice and saute 3 minutes. Pour in boiling chicken stock, cumin seeds and salt. lower heat and cook covered for 20 minutes. Remove lid and let steam out.

in seperate pan saute ham and prawns in butter add curry powder mixed with water. Add to rice and add the mushrooms.
