2 acorn squash
1/4 c. Maple syrup
3 tbsp. Unsalted butter
1/4 tsp. Ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. Ground cloves
1/2 tsp.salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 375ºF
2. Wash the acorn squash
3. Cut off ends of squash and cut in half
4. Scoop out seeds and guts
5. Slice squash into 1 inch slices
6. Combine syrup, butter, salt, cloves, and cinnamon into a microwavable bowl
7. Microwave syrup mixture for about 1 min.
8. Stir hot mixture until well combined
9. Brush the maple butter onto the squash slices on both sides
10. Place in the oven for 50 min. turning them over half way through
