2 tsp. yeast
1 tsp. sugar
½ c. water
2½ - 3 c. flour
½ tsp. salt
¼ c. olive oil
⅓ c. plain yogurt (or sour cream or creme fraiche)
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, yeast and warm water. Wait until frothy, then whisk in other wet ingredients.
2. In a separate bowl combine 1 cup flour with salt and mix in wet ingredients from above.
3. Add flour ½ cup at a time, mixing until it can't be mixed with a spoon.
4. Knead dough for 3 minutes.
5. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
6. Flatten dough into disc shape and cut into 8ths.
7. Roll out balls to about ¼ inch thickness and cook in a lightly oiled pan on medium heat until golden brown and bubbly.
8. Flip and cook on other side until golden brown.
9. Brush with melted butter and garnish with herbs of choice.

*Tip: Dust out excess flour from the pan between each naan.
