1 baked 9 inch pie shell
1 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup cornstarch
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 t salt
2 cups scalded milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
2 T butter
1/4 t vanilla
3 egg whites for meringue

Directions:
Directions:
Combine confectioners sugar and peanut butter. Blend until the appearance of biscuit mix. Spread half of this mixture on baked pie shell. Combine cornstarch, sugar and salt; add scalded milk and mix well. Pour small amount over beaten egg yolks; mix well, then return to milk mixture. Cook until thick. Add vanilla and butter. Pour at once into pie shell. Cover pie with meringue. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over meringue. Bake at 375 degrees until lightly browned.
