One loaf whole wheat bread
One dozen bagels, a mix of savory flavors like Everything, Poppy Seed, Sesame, Pumpernickel, Onion (Auntie Kathy feels this is the "Jo's way" she mentioned in the recipe title)
Olive oil
2 Onions
1 Head Celery
Chicken stock or water
Thyme
Salt & pepper as preferred (if I use a lot of Everything bagels, I don’t add more salt)

Directions:

Cut bread and bagels into 1” size cubes (can be done up to two days in advance)
Dice onions and celery

Heat olive oil in pan, add onion and celery, cook till soft and remove from heat
In large bowl add bread and bagels
Add cooked onions and celery
Slowly add stock or water, don’t let it get soggy
Add thyme – about ½ cup – but you’ll know by the smell

Stuff in turkey or cook outside of the bird. If you cook outside the bird, use baster and add turkey drippings on top of stuffing improve the flavor.
