Directions:
Set Oven to 425 degrees
You are going to make the flan portion of the cake first
• In a Bundt pan coat the bottom of the pan with butter. Make sure to cover a majority of the pan. In a mixing bowl mix the caramel, evaporated milk, condensed milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix all of these ingredients well in a bowl and pour into the Bundt pan slowly and evenly.
• Fill up the water bath half way.
• Place the mixing bowl in the water bath and bake on 425 for 20 minutes. For the chocolate cake mix, poor the ingredients in a mixing bowl next.
• After 20 minutes, take the Bundt pan out of the oven.
• Poor the chocolate mix into the Bundt pan slowly and evenly.
• Cover with foil. Lower the oven temperature to 350 degrees.
• Place the Bundt pan in the water bath for 60 minutes.
Take the Bundt pan out of the oven, out of the water bath, and let the cake cool for 90 minutes. Use a flat plate or large cutting board and place it over the cake.
Quickly flip the cake over onto the plate. Give it a few light taps on the top of the
Bundt pan to help loosen the cake. Remove the Bundt pan slowly and you should have a perfect mold. You can add more caramel from the pan if you like.

Personal Notes:
My wife always made flan out of leftover eggs yolks. She decided to experiment did some research on how to make this into a large cake. She was able to perfect the cake three years ago and now it is the most popular desert requested from us to bring to all of our gatherings.
I am happy to share this recipe with our Service Center family. Since I began working for the LDC in 2016, the Service Center has always supported me and made me feel welcomed. You guys make it easy for me to get up everyday and want to work for you.
Thank you!!
