Sweet Potato Layer

1 can (40 oz) sweet potatoes or fresh sweet potatoes, cooked
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted

Directions:

Mash potatoes, add sugar and butter. Pour mixture into a glass 9 x 13 inch casserole dish.
 

Crunchy Topping

2 cups brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 ½ sticks butter or margarine, melted.
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together by hand. Pour onto potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
