Serve over cooked noodles

1 - 1½ lb fresh tilapia fillets
⅓ cup flour seasoned with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper
2 TBSP each -- butter and oil, divided
2 TBSP minced shallots or green onions
½ cup white wine or vegetable broth
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
¼ cup capers, rinsed and drained.

Pat dry the fish fillets. Combine flour, salt, and pepper and sprinkle over fish.

Heat large skillet over medium high heat. Add 1 tablespoon each butter and oil. Cook fish (in 2 batches) 2 - 2 ½ minutes per side. Add butter/oil mixture when needed.

Add 1 tsp leftover flour and shallots to same skillet and sauté 1 or 2 minutes until onions are tender. Stir in wine, lemon juice, and capers. Stir and simmer 2 more minutes. Pour over fish and serve.
