Ingredients:  
2 cans sliced new potatoes, drained or 9 fresh new potatoes, thinly sliced and cooked.
6 slices bacon
¾ cup chopped onion
2 TBSP flour
2 TBSP sugar
2 tsp salt
½ cup vinegar
½ cup water
dash pepper
your favorite sausage (sausage is optional)

Directions:

In large skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Remove.

Cook onion in grease until golden. Blend in the flour, celery seed, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook until bubbly . Remove from heat.

Stir in water and vinegar. Boil, stirring constantly, one minute. Crumble bacon and add it along with the potatoes. Add the sausage and heat through.
