2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons extract (lemon or vanilla)
6 cups flour (maybe a little less)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar until light. Add in eggs and extract and beat well. Combine flour, bakings soda, and salt and add to wet ingredients. Add colored sugar, frosting, decoration as desired. Chill dough for easy rolling. Roll thin on floured pastry cloth. Bake at 350º for approximately 20 minutes. Watch carefully while baking.
