1 cup shortening
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and brown sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together three times. Add in chopped nuts. Pack in mold and refrigerate overnight. Turn out on board and slice thin. Bake in a hot oven (350º) for 10 minutes.
