Ingredients: 2 sticks lightly salted butter 1 stick Crisco® (20 oz.) 4 ½ cups flour 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. salt 1 ½ cups granulated sugar 1 ½ cups packed dark brown sugar 2 tsp. vanilla extract 4 extra-lg. eggs 1 bag Nestle® Milk Chocolate Morsels 1 bag Nestle® Semi-sweet Chocolate Chunks

Directions:Pre-heat oven to 375˚ *** Large Mixing Bowl 1: - Soften shortening in a large bowl (do this several hours ahead): 2 sticks lightly salted butter and 1 stick Crisco (20 oz.) *** Medium Mixing Bowl 2: “Whisk” together and set aside: 4 ½ cups flour 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. salt *** Add to Bowl 1: 1 ½ cups granulated sugar 1 ½ cups packed dark brown sugar 2 tsp. vanilla extract Beat with electric mixer until creamy. Add 4 extra-lg. eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture from Bowl 2. Stir in: 1 bag Nestle Milk Chocolate Morsels 1 bag Nestle Semi-sweet Chocolate Chunks
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 9 to 13 minutes or until golden brown (bake time will be oven-specific – be careful…my oven takes 13 minutes). Move cookies to wire racks to cool. |
