Spaghetti Meat Sauce Recipe

1-1/2 pounds of ground round beef, browned and drained
1 tsp minced garlic
1 onion, diced ( optional)
1 large can (28 pz) petite diced tomatoes
1 large can (14 oz) tomato paste
1 large can (28 oz) tomato purée
2 Tbs dried parsley flakes
2 tsps of oregano leaves
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp ground red pepper
6 bay leaves
8 jiggers of Worcestershire sauce

Brown ground beef with garlic ( and onion, if you want) at medium - high heat. Puree tomatoes and tomato paste in blender then add to pan. Add all remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Lower heat to low and simmer uncovered for 2 hrs. Remove bay leaves and serve.
