1 cup margarine (2 sticks)
2 cups sugar
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs - separated
3-1/2 cups sifted flour
2-1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1cup milk

Glaze- optional

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine, sugar & vanilla. Blend in egg yolks, one at a time. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into a greased and floured bundt or tube pan. Bake in a 350º oven for 1 hour or until cake tests done. Cool 10 minutes. Turn out.

Glaze: 1-1/3 cup confectioners sugar, 2 tbsp. milk, 1/4 tsp. vanilla, 1/4 tsp. salt
Combine all ingredients. Drizzle on cake.
