1 baked 8” pie shell (no bigger)
½ c. unsalted butter
¾ c. sugar
2 sq. semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled
1 t. vanilla
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar; add chocolate and vanilla. Clean beaters
Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes on medium of hand mixer, after each egg (no longer). Mixture will be sloppy.
Pour into pie shell. Chill 1 – 2 hours.
Garnish with whipped cream and pecans.

** Can be frozen before garnishing.
** Pie is very rich so start with a small piece.

** MUST use hand-held electric mixer at medium; stand mixers don’t work.
