1 stick Crisco butter-flavored shortening
¾ c sugar
¾ c brown sugar
1 t vanilla
2 eggs
2¼ c flour
1 t baking soda
1 t salt

Directions:
Directions:
In mixer, combine on medium speed Crisco stick, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla and continue mixing.
Combine dry ingredients and add to mixer bowl in about 3 parts (otherwise, flour goes all over) on low speed.
Add 1½ c chocolate chips (any flavor; but semi-sweet is normal); about ¾ of 12 oz. pkg.
Spoon cookies onto cookie sheets (4 across and 5 down) and bake 9 min. at 375º F. on top shelf of oven.½
If cookies get too brown, lower temperature to 350º F.
