1 lb. ground beef
1 cup onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic
16 oz. bag frozen mixed vegetables
cup barley
tsp. dried basil leaves
1 Tbsp. dried parsley
2 16 oz. cans stewed tomatoes
5 cups of water
4 beef bouillons - I use "Better than Bouillon"
1 tsp. salt
tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef and drain, then add onion and minced garlic and brown more. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook until the vegetables are tender. It taste better the second day after the flavors have blended, so best to make a day ahead.
