1 pie shell (I buy from the store or you can make your own)

4-5 c tart apple slices (golden delicious or mackintosh)
c sugar
tsp cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
2 tbsp flour

Topping

6 tbsp butter or margarine
6 tbsp brown sugar
c flour

Directions:

Pie filling

Mix dry ingredients together. Peel apples into water with 1 tbsp lemon juice added. Drain and slice apples; fold in ingredients into the apples and pour into the pie shell.

Topping

Cream butter and brown sugar; cut in flour and sprinkle on top pie filling.

Bake at 425 for 45-55 minutes on a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Cover top of pie with aluminum foil for the first 30 minutes so it doesn't burn.
