Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3-4 whole vanilla beans (grade A)
1 cup vodka (8 oz)

Directions:
Directions:
Split vanilla beans in half lengthwise. Cut in half or smaller pieces. If desired, scrape beans from pod. Place beans in jar and cover with alcohol. Screw on lid and shake (do not use cork lids). Place in cool, dark place and let brew for at least 2 months. Longer the time it will get darker and stronger flavor. Shake once every week.

Another great gift idea. Don't have to wait 2 months to give away. Place a label on the jar with date ready to use. Grade B beans cost less and still make a good vanilla.
