2 c sugar
½ c water
1 c karo
2 c peanuts
2 t butter
1 t vanilla
1 ½ t soda

Directions:
Directions:
Boil together sugar, water, and corn syrup until it reaches hard ball stage (probably around 6 - 7 minutes). Add peanuts and cook until syrup golden brown. Add butter and vanilla and stir. Add soda and stir hard. Pour onto buttered slab to cool.

Mama-Doe's recipe didn't have any times on it so I estimated the cooking times based on other recipes. You might want to check after 3-4 minutes. I will definitely use a candy thermometer for this one!
