Stuffed Venison Steak Rolls Recipe

Ingredients: 1/2 cup olive oil 1/4 cup white wine vinegar 6-8 slices of venison, tenderized 2 cups Pepperidge Farms stuffing mix, prepared as directed on package with water or broth and butter 2 bottles (8 oz) bottled Taco sauce Oil for frying
Optional: Add onions, green peppers, or mushrooms if desired

Directions:Mix olive oil and vinegar to marinate venison steaks for 4-5 hours. Remove from marinade. Lay out each steak slice and place a heaping tablespoon of prepared stuffing on top and roll steak strip to cover stuffing. Skewer firmly using toothpicks. Brown each stuffed steak piece in hot oil turning to brown on all sides. Season with salt and pepper. Decrease heat and pour Taco sauce over steaks, (add onions, mushrooms and peppers if desired) cover and simmer slowly about 15 mins. Serve over cooked rice. |

Notes: The Taco sauce adds a great flavor to these venison steaks. Depending on taste, substitute your favorite tomato based sauce to cover stuffed steak pieces smothered with onions and peppers make a great meal.
