1 Pillsbury Ready Made Pie Crust

3 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled and thinly sliced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup sugar
¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Take pie crusts out of box to let come to room temperature. Preheat oven to 350º.
In a large bowl, toss sliced apples with lemon juice; set aside. In a small bowl, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg; pour over apples and toss. Unroll one of the pie crusts and stretch out slightly, place in the bottom of a 9 in. pie pan. Pour the apple mixture into the crust, dot with butter. Unroll the other crust and stretch slightly, place over the top of the filling; seal and flute edges and cut slits in the top of the crust. Bake at 350º for 50 minutes or until crust is golden and filling is bubbly.
