"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Personal Notes:
Khatti dal is the quintessential comfort food in our household. Khatti dal is a must have with rice after a long trip away from home or with my favorite Aloo-methi sabzi.
Khatti is Hindi for sour, but don't worry, you can adjust the sour flavor to your taste.
