Directions:
Melt the bacon grease or beef drippings, Heat the water or beef broth in a glass measuring cup. Whisk in the corn starch to make sure there are no lumps. Pour into the pan with the bacon grease or beef drippings. Add salt and pepper to taste. I like a little more pepper in my gravy to give it a bite. Add the Kitchen Bouquet and bring to a boil and turn to simmer. Continue stirring the whole time. Add beef broth or water to thin as it simmers. Continue to cook to thicken.

Personal Notes:
Brown gravy and rice was served most every Sunday at my house growing up. My Mom didn't make white gravy. My Dad would always request at least 2 vegetables, rice and gravy and my Mother's incredible fried chicken. Yum!
