10-16 Italian sausages
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 large onion
1/4 cup of red wine
2 tbsp of basil or parsley
1 10 oz can of tomato sauce or homemade sauce
4 bell peppers
1 cup of water
Garlic powder
Onion powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage in a pan with 2 inches of water on very low heat covered with 1 tbsp of oil for about 35-45 minutes. Cut peppers and onions into slices or squares. Cook in an inch of water and 1 tbsp of oil until desired tenderness. Add cooking wine, tomato sauce, and seasonings. Water will cook down in both sausage and pepper pans. Remove sausage and slice half-inch or inch slants. Pour sausage juice/ grease and mix all together. Simmer for 15-20 minutes uncovered.
