1 pkg onion soup mix
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp dry mustard
3 cloves of garlic, minced
¼ cup honey
seasoned salt
pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 º F Wash and dry brisket.

In a bowl, mix onion soup mix, brown sugar,dry mustard and garlic and add just enough water to make a thick paste.
Place the fat side of the brisket down on a heavy piece of foil, large enough to wrap whole brisket (like a present)
Lightly coat the brisket with half of the honey.
Spread half of the paste on the brisket and then sprinkle lightly with seasoned salt and pepper.
Flip brisket over and repeat.
Wrap the brisket in foil,tightly seal so no air can escape.
Place in oven and cook for 4 hours (approximately)
Remove and let cool for 30 minutes, then slice perpendicular to grain of meat.
( 9lb. brisket ­ cook for 4 hours, 20 minutes)
