3 lbs chicken breast
8 eggs
1 grated carrot
1 large onion. (Grated)
15 almonds
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup matzoh meal
Salt and pepper to taste
Sugar to taste

Sliced carrots

Directions:
Directions:
In a food processor grind up chicken, carrot, onion and almonds.
Transfer to a large bowl and add in the eggs, matzoh meal, water, sugar, salt and pepper.( each of the last 3 ingredients slowly until desired taste is reached.
Add more water or matzoh meal to reach a texture you can form into balls,
In a pot of boiling water add sugar, salt, pepper, almonds and sliced carrots to make a soup.
Form mixture into balls and add to rolling boil, cook for 2 hours reducing heat to simmer once all balls are formed.
Don't over grind the meat or it becomes to fine and wont hold a shape.
This is a tough recipe to follow since the sugar and salt and pepper

Every time I make this recipe it reminds me of Fred in the kitchen making it for us all.
This recipe is made for passover, and we swap out the matzoh meal with 2 slices of challah soaked in the water
first for the rest of the year.
