Note: this recipe makes 2 large pizzas but can be cut in half for 1 large pizza)
2 pizza dough balls
1 can refried beans
3TB mild Ortega Taco sauce
2-10 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
1 med red or sweet onion diced
1taco season packet
2# ground beef browned (divided)
2-4oz cheddar cheese
2- small bags of shredded lettuce
2 large diced tomatoes
***2- qt size zip lock bags filled with Doritos Nacho cheese chips whole
The following are optional:
Sour cream
Guacamole
Hot sauce
Pico
Diced/sliced jalopeno peppers
Sliced black olives
12-14 Mozzarella sticks (rolled into crust, for stuffed crust)
Melted garlic butter and parmesan cheese to sprinkle on crust.

Take dough ball and let rise, grease pizza pan, stretch dough ball to fit pan.
Open can of refried beans and put in small container add 3 TB taco sauce and mix well, cover and chill while prepping pizza.
Brown hamburger add taco seasoning packet then set aside.
Dice onions and tomatoes and set aside. If making stuffed crust take and open mozzarella sticks and roll into outter edge of pizza crust inward then take bean sauce and sauce pizza dough make sure beans don't leave race lines so go a lil thicker with sauce. Add shredded mozzarella cheese, add toppings like diced onions and sliced olives, jalopenos, and seasoned taco beef, add 2oz shredded cheddar and for garlic crust brush crust with melted garlic butter then bake 375° for 40-45 min or untill bottom of crust is slightly golden brown along with crust golden brown and cheese is melted.
Pull pizza from oven cut into 12 slices and top with more cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and most importantly don't skimp and must use: Doritos Nacho cheese chips (crushed) sprinkled on top. Serve with favorite toppings like sour cream, guacamole, pico, fresh sliced jalopenos, etc...
