4 c. Flour
2 c. Sugar
1 c. Butter soft
1/2 c. Sour Cream
2 Eggs
1 T. Baking Powder
1 t. Baking Soda
2 t. Vanilla
1/2 t. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and sour cream. Then add salt, soda, baking powder, and vanilla. Add flour. Chill for 2 hours. Roll out on a floured surface. Bake at 350º for 8-12 minutes.

Variation: Sugar Cookies
1 t. vanilla
1 t. lemon juice
Roll into a walnut sized ball and roll in sugar. Flatten and bake as above.
