⅔ cup corn syrup
¼ brown sugar
¼ teaspoon almond extract
6 cups Special K or Cornflakes cereal
¼ cup chopped almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Combine corn syrup and brown sugar in large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves and mixture bubbles. Remove from heat and add almond extract. Mix well. Add cereal and chopped almonds. Stir until coated. With back of spoon, press mixture evenly and firmly into buttered 13x9x2 inch pan. Let stand until cool. Cut into 1½ x 3 inch bars. 1 bar = 70 calories
