1 C butter
2 C sugar
5 eggs beaten
3 C all purpose flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp cloves
1 1/2 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 C buttermilk
1 C jam
1 C raisins
1 C chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and beat well. Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk and add to butter mixture. Mix in flour and spice, add jam and mix well. Fold in nuts and fruit.

Grease paper lined pans.
Bake in a preheated 325 oven for 30-40 minuts
