1 tbsp olive oil
2 cups of onion, chopped
2 cups of carrots, chopped
2 cups of celery, finely chopped
½ tbsp minced garlic
1 large potato
1 cup of yellow split peas
1 cup of green split peas
1½ cups of ham, chopped
8 cups of chicken broth
1½ tsp of salt-free seasoning blend
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
In large pot, heat olive oil. Cook onions, carrots, celery and garlic. Stir in broth, peas, ham, seasoning, salt. Cover and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2½ hours, stirring once in awhile.
