Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
My daddy made this date loaf every Christmas - several of them and people always loved it...except me...I hated coconut! So he finally started make a separate roll for me without coconut. It was my favorite holiday treat. Thank goodness my cousin, Elba Dodd, kept the recipe because she would make it after he passed away. I've made it a few times and always enjoy it with my daddy's spirit beside me.
