¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
½ teaspoon seasoned salt
½ teaspoon dried dill weed
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
1 # fillets Lutefisk from Swedish store

Directions:
Directions:
Soak fish in clean cold salted water. Change daily for 5 days. Refrigerate
When ready to prepare, season fish and drown in butter in a 8x11 shallow dish.
Bake for 20-30 minutes or until flaky
 

White Sauce for Lutefisk


Ingredients:

2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 c milk
Paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in small saucepan. Add flour, salt and dash white pepper. Add milk stirring to eliminate lumps. Simmer until it thickens stirring constantly, about 10 minutes.
When fish is baked, pour sauce over, sprinkle with paprika and place under broiler for a minute for a little color. Serve.
