Directions:
Bake at 350º for 1 hr.

(No other instructions)

I would say mix dry ingredients together, including pecans and cranberry's, with the exception of the sugar, and cream together the rest, butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, zest and oj. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and stir, gently, just until combined. Place in a greased 8 or 9 inch loaf pan.

Personal Notes:

This must have been written in a hurry, because it was written in Nanas "shorthand" and there were absolutely no instructions. Actually there were many of the recipes I found that had very few instructions. I think back in the day so many people baked that they just knew what to do.

Just for fun I copied this recipe as close to how Nana wrote it down as possible. I didn't do this on all the recipes but on this one I did, just to give a taste what they were like. If you think about it, it all makes perfect since. Why write the whole word? Also did you notice, this one calls for "butter" not "Oleo"!? Maybe this one was written after they stopped making oleo. ?
