Baked pie shell
1 qt strawberries
Dash of nutmeg
1 c sugar
2 T cornstarch
1 T Lemon juice
Pinch of salt
1/2 c water
Directions:
Directions:
Mash 1/2 quart strawberries and add a dash of nutmeg and put in a sauce pan. Add sugar and cornstarch to berries. Add lemon juice, salt and water. Cook til thick then cool. In your pie shell, put the other half quart of berries. Pour cooked berry mixture over them. Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
