Personal Notes:
Waffles were a McKinney family favorite. Always homemade when possible. We also relied on Bisquick, but they do not taste like the amazing waffles from this recipe.
On New Year's Eve, we would make waffles, add ice cream, lots of whipped cream, strawberries, nuts, and chocolate chips. This recipe comes from the 50's. Mamma Lamon, the mom of our best friend from University of Washington, Bruce Lamon.
Everyone loves waffles. Never had a failure.
