Directions:Preheat oven to 350º. Spray the bottom of an 8x8 baking dish with Pam butter flavored cooking spray. In a large bowl, mix melted butter with cookie mix using a fork. Sir in the egg until the mixture is crumbly. Set aside 1 1/2 cups of your cookie mixture. Press remaining cookie mixture into the bottom of the prepared 8x8 and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with caramel apple filling. Smooth it out to make it even and then sprinkle with reserved cookie mix. (For easy spreading) Spray a little Pam on your hands and then smooth out your sprinkled cookie topping. It's super easy and the top of the crisp will bake perfectly brown and even. Return to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with some Bluebell Homemade Vanilla. It's like you're eating a little bit of heaven on a plate Y'all. |

Notes: I was super lucky when I ran across this delectable dessert! Heather is its biggest fan and Tara IS NOT. She doesn't like oatmeal cookies. We've continually try to convince her that she's missing out though.
