Pie Crust


Ingredients:

Pie crust (either home made or store bought)
Jar (large ~14oz) of hot fudge sauce
1 gal Peppermint stick ice cream
candy canes, ground into pieces/powder

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw ice cream until very soft

Bake pie crust in a deep dish pie dish (pierce with fork around bottom before baking). Let crust cool completely.

Spread chocolate sauce on bottom (slightly warmed is easier). Scoop ice cream into pie shell. Spread or drizzle more chocolate over the top. Then sprinkle candy canes over chocolate.

Freeze until served
 

Grandma's Pie crust

1 Crust=
1 1/2c sifted all purpose flour
1/2tsp salt
1/2c shortening
4-5 Tbsp water or OJ (add gradually until dough holds together but still flaky)

2 Crusts=
2c sifted all purpose flour
1tsp salt
2/3c shortening
5-7Tbsp water or OJ

Serves: 8-10 Prep: 1 hr
