2 c. self-rising flour
1/3 c. Crisco
Buttermilk as needed

Directions:
Directions:
Cut Crisco into flour with 2 forks or a pastry cutter until it is pea size. Add buttermilk until dough is wet but dry enough to handle. With floured hands, pinch off dough and roll in hands to form a biscuit. Place biscuits on a baker or pan. Pat down. Bake at 425 degrees for 18 minutes.

Note; Handle dough as little as possible to avoid tough biscuits.
