8-10 medium red new potatoes
2 C half and half cream
6 T butter
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground white pepper
1/2 lb. medium Cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions:
Directions:
Boil the potatoes until just about done, then drain and let cool until just warm, then peel. Place in a bowl, then into the refrigerator (covered) and chill overnight. Shred the potatoes into a buttered or sprayed shallow baking dish or casserole. In a medium-size saucepan, heat the cream, butter and seasonings until the butter is melted (do not boil), then stir in the shredded cheese. Pour this mixture over the shredded potatoes and stir to mix well. Place uncovered in a preheated 350º oven and bake for 1 hour
