Combine and let stand:
2 packages of dry yeast or 2 tbsp.
½ c. warm water
¼ c. sugar

Sift into a large bowl:
6 c. flour
½ c. powdered milk
1 tsp. salt

Make a well in flour and pour in:
2 c. warm water
½ c. melted shortening
2 beaten eggs
Yeast mixture

Mix well. Cover and let rise about 1 hour. Turn out on floured board, knead a few times, working in more flour until dough is not sticky. Roll into desired shapes and put on greased pan. Let rise 20-30 minutes. Bake at 375º for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
